About Aaralyn
Hi, I’m Aaralyn 👋🏾
I’m a certified teacher and the creator of Mrs. Aaralyn’s Room, a space designed to bring clarity, structure, and confidence to learning, whether that learning is happening in the classroom or at home.
Mrs. Aaralyn’s Room was created for teachers, parents, and learners who want real support without the overwhelm. This space exists to make learning feel intentional and empowering.
My journey began where many future educators start with a deep desire to teach and very little clarity around how to successfully prepare for certification exams. I was not a natural test taker. I was simply determined to understand the process and find a better way.
That determination led me to pass the STR, PPR, SPED EC–12, and EC–6 exams, three of them within just twenty-four days, all on my first attempt.

During that process, I noticed something important. Many study resources made preparation harder than it needed to be. Materials were often cluttered, outdated, or disconnected from the reality of a teacher’s schedule and responsibilities.
After getting certified, I began creating the resources I wish I had while studying, resources rooted in clarity, relevance, and structure. That work became Rich Girl Certified™, a collection of exam-aligned study guides and certification resources housed inside Mrs. Aaralyn’s Room.
Rich Girl Certified™ supports future educators with structured content, CRQ guidance, study schedules, and vocabulary tools that are designed to build understanding. These resources were created by someone who has lived the process and understands the pressure that comes with high-stakes testing.
As my work continued, I noticed another gap. Many families want to support their children with reading comprehension but are unsure how to do so in a meaningful, practical way. This led to the creation of The Comprehension Code, a reading comprehension program designed to help children make sense of what they read through intentional conversation, thinking, and everyday support.
The Comprehension Code is not about teaching children how to read. It is about helping them understand, connect, and engage with text in ways that fit naturally into home life.
Everything inside Mrs. Aaralyn’s Room is built with one goal in mind: to help you move forward with clarity and confidence, whether you are preparing for certification or supporting a learner at home.
This work is created and operated under That’s So Rich Girl LLC.
You are not behind, you are exactly where you need to be.
